Tara Smith, R.D.H.

Tara was born in Richmond, BC and grew up in Tsawwassen.  After graduating from high school she took a break and traveled to New Zealand and Australia for four months.  While meeting many new faces on her journeys, Tara discovered that a career working with people was what she aspired to.  When she returned to the lower Mainland she attended Langara College for two years thinking that she wanted to be a teacher, but switched paths along the way and was accepted into the Dental Hygiene program.  Tara graduated from the VCC program in 2004 and has been practicing ever since.

Tara enjoys educating patients about their oral health as well as providing quality, comfortable care.

Tara also loves spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoys hiking, dancing, exercising, television and has recently taken up golf.  In the future Tara would like to continue to travel and pursue her BSc in Dental Hygiene so that one day she may teach the program.
